Guide to Testing
ACT Retesting
Why Retest? Most students take the ACT two times--once as a junior and once as a senior. The second biggest regret of many of my previous students was that they did not retake the ACT. It has the possibility to open doors for you and scholarships. Many of these students were not able to enter certain scholarships programs or majors or were even denied to certain schools that they were interested in because of a point or two on the ACT. If you are unhappy with your current score or thing that through some additional practice you could improve your score, make a plan and retest!

Part II: Register
First, report to EPIC Academy for a fee waiver. The front office will be able to help you. Then go to the ACT website and register by the appropriate date. Remember, if you register late you will have to pay the late fee. Late fees cannot be waived by the waiver, just the cost of the test!
SAT II Testing
Why take the SAT II?
The SAT II tests also called Subject Tests. It measures how much you know about a particular academic subject. There are a large range of subjects from Spanish language and listening to American History to Chemistry. You may choose any of the subjects that you are strongest at. Most schools recommend you take two of these 90 minute tests. It is highly recommended that you study. Study guides are available at:
